Who is your Savior? (3)

Actually, It's not a trick question. In order for us to understand why the Old Testament says only Jehovah is the Savior yet in the New Testament we find out that only by the name of Jesus we can be saved, we need to a understand a very important porphecy.

Is 9:6 "For to us a child is born, a son is given... and he will be called, Mighty God, Everlasting Father..."

Through this prophecy we can understand that it is Jehovah God that will come in the future playing the role of a son, that is Jesus Christ. Just because God comes in the flesh as the son doesn't mean He is not God anymore. In Ecl 3:1 we learn there is a time for everything. So also, the age of the Father cannot last forever, that is why the age of the son started, because of TIME LIMITATION.

In addition, not only does the age change, but also the Name of the Savior must change. That is why during the time of Isaiah whoever called on the Name of Jehovah God received salvation. But what about when Christ came? The disciples received salvation through the Name of Jesus. What happened with those who kept calling on the Name of Jehovah? They didn't receive salvation beecause they didn't understand time limitation.

Please come back to understand more why it's so important for us to understand that everytime the age changes the Name of the Savior has to change. GOD BLESS YOU!
