The goal of our faith is to receive salvation, eternal life. The reason we beleive in Christ is because He is the only one who has promised eternal life. Now, we need to understand the way eternal life was given in each age and also who will give it.
God's Administration of salvation is composed of three ages: Age of the Father, Age of the Son and Age of the Holy Spirit (Mt 28:18). Let's see who gave the water of life in the age of the Father.
ETERNAL LIFE GIVEN BY JEHOVAH GOD IN THE AGE OF THE FATHER
JER 2:13 "My people have committed two sins: They have forsaken me (Jehovah), the spring of living water..."
Nobody can receive salvation unless he came to Jehovah in the Age of the Father Jehovah.
WATER OF LIFE GIVEN BY JESUS IN THE AGE OF THE SON
JOHN 4:13 "Jesus answered, "Everyone who drinks this water will be thristy again, but whoever drinks the water I give him will never thirst. Indeed, the water I give him will become a spring of water welling up to eternal life"
2,000 years ago, even though Jehovah came in the flesh as Jesus those who stuck to the Name of Jehovah didn't receive the water of life because they did not understand Bible prophecy. What about 2,000 years later in the age of the Holy Spirit?
WATER OF LIFE GIVEN BY THE SPIRIT AND THE BRIDE
REV 22:17 The Spirit and the Bride say "Come", and the him who hears say "Come", whoever is thirsty let him come and whoever wishes let him the free give of the water of life.
The Spirit as we know is God the Father and the Bride according to the Bible is Heavenly Jerusalem (Rev 21:9), that is our spiritual Mother (Gal 4:26).
Just like we have an earthly Mother, so we also have the Mother of our spirits. Come to Mother Jerusalem and the Holy Spirit to receive the water of life!
