Let us see through the Bible, what were the teachings that the early Church followed?
Lk 4:16 "He went to Nazareth, where he had been brought up, and on the Sabbath day he went into the synagogue, as was his custom. "
Mk 2:27 "..The sabbath was made for man, not man for the Sabbath. So the Son of Man is Lord even of the Sabbath"
Even Jesus Christ set the example of keeping the Sabbath Day Holy.
APOSOTOLIC AGE
Acts 17:2 "As his custom was, Paul went into the synagogue, and on three Sabbath days he reasoned with them from the Scriptures, explaining and proving that the Christ had to suffer and rise from the dead"
The Apostles even the Sabbath Day kept holy without desacrating it. Actually Jesus Christ prophesied in the last days God's chosen people will be keeping the Sabbath Day:
Mt 24:20 "Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath."
In the book of Matthew Chapter 24, Jesus Christ is speaking of the last days. He said that in the last days there will be the people who keep the Sabbath, these are the people of God. He never abolished anything in the law (Mt 5:17) he only came to fulfill everything so that we may be able to keep the Sabbath.
GOD'S FEELINGS TOWARD THE SABBATH DAY:
Ez 22:26 "Her priests do violence to my law and PROFANE my holy things; they do not distinguish between the holy and the common; they teach that there is no difference between the unclean and the clean; and they shut their eyes to the keeping of my Sabbaths, so that I am profaned among them."
Those who teach we should not keep the Sabbath day PROFANE THE NAME OF GOD, They teach Sunday (unclean) and Sabbath (clean) is the same when God Almighty never authorized the sanctification of Sunday.
In these last days Church of God World Mission Society keeps the Sabbath Day in accordance with God's word. Please come to Zion and understand that the Living God Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother New Jerusalem have come to this to give us salvation and sanctification every Sabbath Day. GOD BLESS YOU!
