If Jesus Could have saved us by just having faith in Him (Rom 10:9), Why did He say that by just calling on the Name of Christ we won't be saved (Mt 7:21) and that only at the last day Eternal Life will be given (Jn 6:53)? These are not contradictions of the Bible, but it's something that we need to understand as fellow believers otherwise we will be in big trouble (Mt 22:29). Then let us Understand, how come God Almighty Promised Eternal Life ONLY at the last day, what will happen then?
Col 2:2 "My purpose is that they may be encouraged in heart and united in love, so that they may have the full riches of complete and understanding, in order tha they may know the mystery of God, namely, Christ "
According to Apostle Paul, in Christ, are hidden mysteries, but everyone knows about Christ nowadays, so many churches and followers that Christ has, then what's the mystery of Christ? Let's take another look at another statement Apostle Paul made.
2 Cor 4:4 "The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the IMAGE OF GOD.
ONLY the true believers can see the TRUE IMAGE OF GOD which is Christ. Those who don't believe in Jesus though they claim to be so faithful will not believe the image of God which equates to Christ. Then, in the book of Genesis, image of God is Male and also Female.
The Male image of God we call Father, if there is also a female, She is our Mother. However, this still does not answer the questions "WHY WILL GOD ONLY GIVE ETERNAL LIFE AT THE LAST DAY" But through our next post we will find out why it's important to know first of all of the true image of God to understand about eternal life.
