"I have much more to say to you, more than you can now bear. But when he, the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all truth..." John 16:12-13

Christ Will Come Again in the Flesh; His Name is Christ Ahnsahnghong
Every Christian is waiting for Christ to come a second time. The Bible clearly shows us how He will come.
Matt. 24:3 "As Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives, the disciples came to him privately. "Tell us," they said, "when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?"
Actually, we can see three questions here, believe it or not:
1.) When will this happen?
2.) What is the sign of your coming?
3.) (What is the sign of) the end of the age?
Since Jesus is sitting right in front of them while the disciples ask this, obviously they are asking about Jesus's second coming. Most people claim that the last two is one in the same. However, by the Bible's description of each, let's determine HOW Christ will appear a second time.
2 Thes. 1:6 "God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you 7 and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. 8 He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. 9 They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power"
Clearly this event is what? (Judgment)God will pay back trouble and punish those who do not know God and who disobey the Gospel of Christ when He comes with fire. Obviously this is Christ's LAST coming, the coming of judgment. Let's confirm:
Isa. 66:15 See, the LORD is coming with fire, and his chariots are like a whirlwind; he will bring down his anger with fury, and his rebuke with flames of fire. 16 For with fire and with his sword the LORD will execute judgment upon all men, and many will be those slain by the LORD."
Clearly God's coming with fire is His last coming. It is His coming with judgment upon ALL men, not some and not with the exception of those who believe. ALL MEN WILL BE JUDGED AT THIS TIME when Jesus Christ comes with fire, as is written in the Bible.
Now let's see the description of His 2nd Coming in the Bible:
Matt. 24:30 "At that time the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and all the nations of the earth will mourn. They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. 31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other.
Here, when Jesus answered their question about how Christ should appear a 2nd time, He says that He will come on the clouds. When He comes a 2nd time, every eye will see him. But when Jesus comes a 2nd time on the clouds, with power and great glory, He's coming to gather the elect - not everybody. The same situation is described in Luke:
Luke 21:27 "Then everyone will see the Son of Man coming on a cloud with power and great glory. 28 So when all these things begin to happen, stand and look up, for your salvation is near!”
When Christ comes a 2nd time on the clouds, He will gather the elect, bringing salvation.
One coming of Christ is described to bring judgment to all men with fire and eternal destruction. Another coming is described as gathering the elect (few and elite) with clouds to bring salvation. Can these two events be one? As fire cannot mix with water (clouds), so Christ's coming for judgment and salvation cannot happen at the same time. That's why the Bible describes the two events as two opposing elements.
Now we must consider which event will take place first. Will God judge ALL men first with fire, gathering the remains of the elect? (C'mon!) Or should God first gather His elite chosen and judge the remaining world? The former is the correct one, obviously.
Then if Christ literally comes on the clouds with power and great glory, who would be ignorant enough to reject Him? Every eye will see Him coming on the clouds, even other religions; then even among the muslims, who would reject Christ coming that way? (No one!) in all reality, can there be an elect then?
Obviously, Christ must not intend a literal cloud. Remember how Jesus Christ ALWAYS spoke (unless He plainly said this is the truth):
Matt. 13:34 "Jesus spoke all these things to the crowd in parables; he did not say anything to them without using a parable."
Seeing that Christ always spoke in parables, let's find out the true meaning of a cloud using other verses in teh Bible:
Jude 1:12 - clouds w/o rain = false prophets (clouds = flesh)
Prov. 25:14 - clouds w/o rain - false man (clouds = flesh)
Heb. 12:1 - cloud of witnesses (cloud of witnesses = people = flesh)
Constantly, people are compared to the clouds, showing that clouds represent the flesh, people.
Now let's see how Christ's first coming was prophesied:
Dan. 7:13 "In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one like a son of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. 14 He was given authority, glory and sovereign power; all peoples, nations and men of every language worshiped him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion that will not pass away, and his kingdom is one that will never be destroyed."
In the prophecy of the Christ's 1st coming, the messiah was prophesied to receive authority, glory, and sovereign power (soverign implies a kingdom). Let's see who received these things in the New Testament:
Matt. 28:18 "Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me." (Jesus has received authority)
John 17:10 "All I have is yours, and all you have is mine. And glory has come to me through them." (Jesus has received glory)
Luke 22:29 "And I confer on you a kingdom, just as my Father conferred one on me..."
The one prophesied to receive authority, glory, and sovereign power is the Messiah, the 1st coming Christ. However, in the New testament, Jesus received these things. THAT'S how we can recognize that Jesus is the 1st Coming Christ. Yet, how was He supposed to receive it? (ON THE CLOUDS)How did Jesus actually receive it? As a spirit?
John 6:41 "At this the Jews began to grumble about him because he said, "I am the bread that came down from heaven." 42They said, "Is this not Jesus, the son of Joseph, whose father and mother we know? How can he now say, 'I came down from heaven'?"
As we know, Jesus was a human being, a man. He was, however, prophesied in the Old Testament to come on the clouds. Clearly, the clouds is "parable talk" for flesh. Let's not make the same mistake as the Jews 2000 years ago, who are STILL waiting for the 1st coming Messiah to come riding on a cloud. The Bible prophesies that result:
Eccl. 11:4 "Whoever watches the wind will not plant;
whoever looks at the clouds will not reap.
If we want to reap salvation from God, we must seek Him among one of our own; which is eye-level, not upward. Someone who says Christ will appear a 2nd time in spirit shows that the person knows neither the scriptures nor the power of God. And so you know, He won't come with the same name of Jesus:
Rev. 3:11 "I am coming soon. Hold on to what you have, so that no one will take your crown. 12 Him who overcomes I will make a pillar in the temple of my God. Never again will he leave it. I will write on him the name of my God and the name of the city of my God, the new Jerusalem, which is coming down out of heaven from my God; and I will also write on him my new name."
The name of Jesus has changed along with the age of the Son. Now we are in the age of the holy Spirit, so Christ must have a new name.
But if you don't know when how can we even begin to seek Him to receive salvation?
